The first manager didn't like me, of course told all her thoughts to the second manager who ultimately screwed me as well. I applied online. I interviewed at Chime Interview

You hare going to burn potential future candidates like this and make a bad name for yourself. My two cents? Don't waste people's time, and be open and communicative on decisions. Everyone can understand that business decisions are made (especially in the current economy), but they should know this long before a candidate spends weeks going through the process. Lastly, to go through the whole process only to hear that they have put hiring on pause was less than ideal. The real frustration though was the lack of communication throughout the process - if you are told you'll hear back by a certain day, you shouldn't have to email them 2 days after at every step of the way. I'd like to say I gave perfect answers, but usually you'd expect some follow-up or deeper dive questions based on your response, right? Rather they read off a pre-set list and didn't really seem to have any follow-ups. Many were not prepared, and had did not have questions prepared. While not a terrible experience, the interviewers left a lot to be desired. I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chime in Sep 2022 Interviewįair standard interview process, screening, hiring manager, and panel interviews.
#AMAZON CHIME BUSINESS CALLING REVENUE UPDATE#
Guessing headcount was running out but it would go a long way to simply keep to your word on when the next update will be and communicate proactively. Anyways they eventually moved to offer and I told them my updated comp needs (as my other offers had come in very high) and basically was ghosted after that until I reached out, and then they said all positions got filled. Why not follow up when you say you will? Difficult to express what an excruciating candidate experience it is. He would often say "I'll get back to you at latest X date" and after waiting anxiously for that date to pass I would have to email him to follow up, and at this point he would respond immediately. When he got back to me a week after onsite he said I had "super positive feedback across the board" but each additional step after that (team matching, results of team matching, offer, etc) took a very long time.

While interviewers were all great, interview process was frustrating due to communication gaps with my recruiter. I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Chime (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2022 Interview
